报告摘要:
Charged atoms confined in electro-magnetic potential wells can be used to present fascinating physics, such as quantum computing, precision measurement, thermodynamics and so on. I introduce our home-built traps confining calcium ions to demonstrate nonlinear physics and phononic physics. Our setup is a platform to implement experiments in both classical and quantum regimes.

个人简介:
冯芒,研究员,多年从事原子分子物理、量子光学和量子信息方面的研究。曾两度参与欧盟委员会资助的量子信息的研究项目,迄今已经发表SCI 收录的论文140余篇,获得他引1000 余次。近几年领导完成了国内第一套专门用于量子计算的线型离子阱的搭建,实现了离子的云态和晶态囚禁。正致力于超冷离子体系以及相关体系的量子模拟和量子力学基本特性的研究。
