Eligibility -

Hold a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. The maximum age should generally not exceed 35 years.

Priority will be given to candidates with research experience in Condensed Matter Physics, Computational Physics, Micro/Nanoscale Heat, Electric, Optical, Magnetic, and Thermoelectric Transport.

Proficient in spoken and written English.

Hardworking, diligent, with a spirit of teamwork and communication.

The salary and benefits follow the standards of Tongji University for postdoctoral researchers, as listed below:

The university offers competitive salary packages. For regular postdoctoral positions, the pre-tax annual salary is 300,000 CNY+. For postdoctoral positions supported by the "Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program," the pre-tax annual salary is 420,000 CNY+. For postdoctoral positions under the "Postdoctoral International Exchange Program" or "Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Program," the pre-tax annual salary is 360,000 CNY+.

Postdoctoral fellows will be provided with a postdoctoral apartment or housing subsidy.

The university provides free annual health check-ups for postdoctoral researchers.

Enrollment of children (primary school) and nursery arrangements will be made according to relevant regulations in Shanghai.
